Awake
Snow advisory for Friday and Saturday in Kentucky. So I'm back at the control panel. The plan was to buy my mother a computer, since she was interested in getting online. However, I discovered my mother was about to use a free AOL DISK. If anyone has a good idea for a non-AOL ISP, let me know.
Dr. Mike at The Daria-Jane Conspiracy is moving the site back onto a server. His comments:
Two bits of bad news though. While I'll have nearly unlimited bandwidth, the amount of traffic will be capped at 3 megs/ sec. Not sure how that will effect people visiting the sites. Also I get to spend the weekend moving over 140 websites. Manually. And having to run a convert program on each backup since we're moving from a CPAnel server to a DirectAdmin one. Lots of fun.
Sites may be up and down this weekend. Just wanted to let everyone know.
