Glenn Eichler's Rules

...for satire, from The Primary Source , which calls itself "the journal of conservative thought at Tufts University". Even though the header date is October 2003, the article states that it appeared in their 1984 issue. At that time, Eichler was the Managing Editor of National Lampoon Magazine.

All I can figure out is that the Primary Source got bashed with a parody magazine. (Happens all over colleges everywhere; the University of North Carolina would replace Duke's free student papers with satirical copies -- and vice versa.) Therefore, the need to set "high standards for satire", or whatever. At least, they asked someone good.
