Happy 14th Birthday, Daria!!
Today is the 14th anniversary of the very first appearance of Daria in any cartoon. She appeared in the Beavis and Butt-Head episode "Sign Here" on March 19, 1991.

Mr. Van Driessen is attempting to keep a furrier out of town, and asks Daria how they kill animals:
Daria: "Anal electrocution. Fifty-thousand volts up the butt!"
Daria is characteristically pleased with the discomfort this graphic description causes.
