New Daria Fan Site

And with some of the files on Daria's Domain, I've finally updated some information about Daria's first appearance on Beavis and Butt-head. Her first line was NOT "Anal electrocution -- 50 thousand volts up the butt!" Here is the scene from "Sign Here" where Daria first appears.
(Bell rings. We see an exterior of Highland High School.)
Van Driessen: "Now people, do you know what I mean when I say that animals are sentient creatures? Daria?"
Daria: "They think and feel just like us?"
(Beavis is hitting Butt-Head with a ruler. He goes "Aaaah!!" and tries to hit Beavis with a book, but misses. Beavis giggles. "Mweheheheh!" This action goes on back and forth for some time, without stopping.)
Van Driessen: "Well, just like most of us, anyways. And that brings us....
(video interrupted: sorry. JRB)
Van Driessen: "Who can tell me how they kill these poor little animals that they use to make those furs? Anybody?"
Daria: "Anal electrocution?"
Van Driessen: "That's correct."
Beavis: "What's that mean? Heh mweheheh!"
Van Driessen: "Tell the class, Daria."
Daria: "Fifty thousand volts up the butt!"
(Daria smiles, contented as the rest of the class ooohs and aaahs. Beavis and Butthead cackle.)
Butt-Head: "That'd be cool!"
